A. We endeavor to answer all queries within 72 hours. Unfortunately, sometimes emails are marked as junk mail even though they are legitimate emails. If you think you should have received an email from us please check your spam folder, junk mail, or deleted items folders. If you still haven't received the expected email, please contact us

Q. Are you indexed by ISI/SSCI?
A.

Yes, we are indexed by both of these agencies. The most recent impact factor is .548, and citation rates increased by 49% between 2015 and 2016.

Q. What is the ISSN for SBP Journal?
A. ISSN 0301-2212 (Print), ISSN 1179-6391 (Online)

Q. What is your publication schedule?
A. We publish 10 or more issues per year/volume. Our e-newsletter also follows this schedule.

Q. How do I know if my paper is suitable for publication in SBP Journal?
A. SBP Journal generally publishes empirical research focused on social, personality, and developmental psychology, and related disciplines. If in doubt, please email your abstract and the editorial staff will advise you of its suitability.

Q. How are articles scheduled for publication?
A. Once a manuscript is accepted for publication it is scheduled in the next available space in an upcoming issue. This is usually around 6 to 9 months after acceptance. Authors can expedite publication by providing prompt feedback during the editing process and making payment of the publication fee within 60 days.

Q. What does the author share publication amount include?
A. The author share publication amount of accepted papers is put toward part of the cost of publication, processing, detailed subediting, typesetting, copyediting, proofreading, printing, collating, binding, etc. of an author’s own paper in SBP Journal.

Q. When is payment for my manuscript due?
A. We request that authors pay the publication costs within 2 months of acceptance to ensure efficient processing. Manuscripts are sent for final preparation for publication only once payment is received.

Q. How can I reduce the author share publication amount I need to pay?
A. The length of a manuscript may be reduced, bearing in mind that each printed page contains approximately 400 words or equivalent of text. We allow 0.8 (4/5) of a page for the title, abstract, and author details. The length of the references list and number of section headings, and size of tables and figures also influence the space requirements. Authors who do not have financial assistance from their institution or university may be eligible for a small journal subsidy (see Publication costs).

Q. How do I make a payment for my manuscript?
A.

Secure credit card payment is possible on our website or an international bank transfer may be made. The details you will require for a bank transfer are as follows:
