This was conducted in order to explore the characteristics of schizotypal personality proneness using the Chinese Soldier Personality Questionnaire (CSPQ; Xiao, Miao, Xiao, Wu, & Li, 2007). Analysis was conducted comparing CSPQ scores from 426 individuals who were schizotypal personality prone and 411 individuals who were not. The results suggested that compared with the scores of individuals in the nonschizotypal personality prone group, those in the schizotypal personality prone group had significantly lower scores on the defence scale but significantly higher scores on the dissociative, neurotic, sensitive, and difference seeking scales, with significant differences when the scores exceeded 70
